Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are set in order to provide a safe environment for you, your children and the staff. They are also for hygeine reasons and to ensure our lessons run smoothly and provide a happy swimming enviornment. Please make sure you read all the T&C's and follow them with due care.
If lessons are missed they cannot be made up/transferred to other children or refunded
If you cancel your booking with less than 1 weeks notice before start of term, a £20 retention fee will be held
We do not offer trial lessons. Payment must be made to secure your place.
Swimming Lesson Terms & Conditions
(To be agreed to by all customers)
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organised environment for all swimmers and families, we ask that all customers read and agree to the following terms and conditions before attending lessons.
1. Health & Safety Rules

Only one adult per family (not per child) is permitted on poolside at all times, including drop-off and pick-up periods. For safety and space management, we cannot allow multiple adults from the same family on poolside at any point, as this creates overcrowding.

No shoes on poolside. All adults must remove footwear or use provided shoe covers.

No running anywhere within the swimming facility, including changing rooms and poolside.

No hot drinks, glass containers, or food on poolside for safety and hygiene reasons.

Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult at all times before and after lessons.

Please do not enter the pool until instructed by a swim teacher.

Parents/guardians must not distract teachers or swimmers during lessons unless there is an emergency.

All medical conditions or additional needs must be declared at the time of booking so instructors can ensure safe participation.

Swimmers who are unwell, including those with diarrhoea, vomiting, ear infections, or contagious illnesses, must not attend lessons for at least 48 hours after symptoms have cleared.

Appropriate swimwear must be worn by all swimmers. Swim nappies are required for any child not fully toilet trained.
2. Behaviour & Conduct

Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate language or behaviour towards staff, swimmers, or other families will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the programme without refund.

Children must follow the instructions of swim teachers at all times for their own safety.

Adults must respect the safety rules of the facility and ensure siblings or spectators do so as well.
3. Lesson Arrangements

Please arrive in good time so lessons can start promptly.

If a swimmer arrives late, session time will not be extended.

Changing rooms must be used respectfully. Please keep belongings tidy and take all items home.

Photography or video recording is strictly prohibited on poolside unless prior consent is granted by the swim school.

The swim school may change teachers or class arrangements when necessary but will always aim to maintain consistency.

Missed lessons cannot be refunded or transferred, unless cancelled by the swim school.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If a lesson is cancelled by the swim school (e.g., pool issues, staff illness), a replacement session or credit will be offered.

Refunds are not offered for missed lessons due to illness, holidays, or personal circumstances.

In the rare event of persistent safety or behaviour concerns, the swim school reserves the right to withdraw a swimmer from lessons.
5. Personal Belongings & Liability

The swim school is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings on site.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring valuables are secured and children’s items are clearly labelled.
6. Agreement
By enrolling in our swimming lessons, you confirm that you:

Have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Accept responsibility for ensuring all accompanying adults and swimmers follow these rules.
