About us
Flippers Swimming School Northwood Ltd was set up by Barbara Moran in 1994 with one simple aim — to help people of all ages feel confident, safe, and happy in the water.
We are a small, family-run swim school proudly affiliated with Swim England, delivering high-quality swimming lessons in a supportive and friendly environment. For over 30 years, we have successfully taught babies, children, and adults this vital life skill through lessons that are enjoyable, safe, and tailored to each swimmer’s needs.
At Flippers, we believe learning to swim should be fun, positive, and confidence-building. Our experienced instructors focus on creating a safe space where every swimmer can progress at their own pace while developing skills that last a lifetime.
